In the 1960’s the US Congress enacted the Clean Air act and established the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This prompted a young professional mechanical engineer named Ray Warren to go into the industrial Air Pollution Control business. Initially Warren Engineering, Inc. was a manufacturer’s representative of air pollution control equipment suppliers; however, Ray quickly saw that his customers needed Ductwork and a Stack to complete the package. As a result, Warren Environment was established to provide Stack and Ducts for all types of industry applications.

In the 1980’s Warren Environment pioneered new ways of controlling wind induced vibrations on tall Stacks due to vortex shedding. Warren was the first to use Impact Damping on Dual Wall Stacks and later the Tuned Mass Damper system in North America.

By the 1990s Warren Environment became North America’s leading supplier of Steel Stack Systems and has maintained this standing to this day.

For over half a century Warren Environment has led the way in Stack and Duct technology and intends to remain the industry leader for years to come.
